I work in agricultural machinery day to day, so this is the part of the job I know best. I can tell when a machine is sitting wrong in frame, and I know which parts of it a buyer actually looks at.
Most of this work is for manufacturers and dealers who need their gear shot properly for a website, a brochure or social. Most of that has been for Landaco Equipment.
What that usually means:
On-site at the farm, the yard or the factory floor
Product shots for catalogues and brochures
Shorter, looser stuff for social
Machinery is awkward to photograph. It's big, it's usually outdoors, half of it is dark green or dark grey, and the light changes while you're setting up. Getting it to look like the machine you're standing in front of takes a bit of planning.
